Rich was one of my best friends. I met him when he and his family moved to Union back in the forth grade. I think I was the very first person he met in Battle Hill.

Rich and I were like brothers. We did some pretty crazy things back then like riding our bikes to NYC and down the shore (on the parkway)!

Our friendship grew stronger as we got older. During High School, we both were in the CAST program helping and suporting each other.

After High School, I attended Mercer County College and Rich went to Ohio State. I remember one year, I drove all the way to Ohio to pick him up and bring him home for Thanksgiving. That's what close friends do for each other I guess.

The worst day of my life, was when I attended Richs' funeral. Rich, I hope you have been resting peacefully all these years. I still miss you, "brother".

Wow. Lee told me about this during a past reunion, but seeing this memorial brings it all back.

Rich and I became friends at Central 6. We trekked to NY to check out colleges but we both ended up at Ohio University...were in adjoining dorms and hung out together.

He was a sweeet friend I wish I had the opportunity to know into adulthood. I'll always remember his love of the Cappy Dick comic strip and Pat Benatar.

Ricky moved two houses away from me in the 4th grade. We hung out for many summers together. I'll always remember his sense of humor, he was a great friend. Miss ya Ricky...

Ricky was a really important person in my life. I can remember the days of working at Dairy Queen with Ricky & Dana. Going to prom in Ricky's mustang. Just hanging out & laughing all the time. The three of us were inseparable for a long time. I miss those days, and I miss Ricky.

Ricky...Ricky, Ricky....or Rick as he liked to be called...working at DQ with Liane and Ricky was something that I will never forget. Driving home on RT 22...having the door to his mustang fall off in a U-Turn, going to the Union Drive-In with him and he stuck my little sister in between us because she had a crush on him, going to the prom with him, heading to his house after school with Liane to watch General Hospital and hang by the pool. He was funny as hell, smart, and loved music. He would kidnap me for the day if I had a date with a guy he didn't like....he drove a Honda Prelude with the license plate "Lude". My son Jonathan's middle name is Richard for Ricky....I loved him then and always will. I miss him dearly.....

Love to read stories from his closest friends! Had only a few meetings with him but was always a good kid. Another of the people that made our school special!

Ricky was my cousin and it's very heartwarming to read all the nice things people have to say about him! He definitely left this world too soon.

It truly saddens me to hear about Rick. We were in CAST together and shared many laughs during those years. You will be missed dearly.
