I was surprised to find the passing of Karen, and I would like to extend my condolences to all of her family and friends.

We had a simple summer love (just kids wanting to learn to be more) prior to start of 6th grade; and because of this, she will always remain a special place in my heart since I do believe that every person that touches our soul does shape our life for the better...

I realize that this web site, much like any of our future reunions, are mile stones for each of our lives. Some may gather while others will not, but I would like to state that Karen had a big heart even though life may not have been always so fair to her!

Karen was such a lovely young lady when I knew her in Junior High/High School. It's so sad to see her pass at such a young age.

Karen was one of my best friends in high school. I'm glad she was able to meet my husband and my first born, unfortunatly she was never able to meet my daughter. I am sorry to say we lost touch for the last couple of years of her life. She is very much missed!

Karen loaned me her mirror when I lost my teeth in Sunday School class as a kid, even though the jagged edges grossed her out. I didn't even know why girls carried mirrors at the time but was glad to be able to check out the damage. Thanks, Karen.

Would have never know hadnt I logged on to Class of 1980's web site.  My condolences to the family.  She was admired for her beauty and outragious figure in high school.
